Thursday 23 February was an evening filled with delight as plenty of denim lovers gathered at Out/ London to celebrate London fashion label, Bethnals’ Spring Summer 2016 Lunch Party that was hosted by British designer Melissa Clement. On display was a clothing rail overflowing with denim garments that guests were kindly invited to try on.
Reintroducing unisex denim to the streets of London, Bethnals’ Spring Summer 2016 collection combines edgy with classy – providing wearers versatility and allowing them to play around and have fun with their outfits – whilst being able to still maintain that smart retro look.
Melissa Clement commented “This is our first collection, which is taking on a lot more of an unstructured feel, all of the silhouettes are a lot more looser and this is all driven by our fabrics that are coming in, which are much more fluid and soft, so they are rigid.”
Catering to every denim lover’s unique needs, this year Bethnals has certainly achieved that with its SS2016 collection, which interestingly combines stylishness with comfort. Some of the featured garments included, The Alfie Western Jacket, The Smith Carpenter, The Tommy Worker Jacket and The Smith Carpenter Short.
If comfy is on your top priority list when selecting your favourite unisex denim wear, then you’re in for a fun ride this season with Bethnals.
